Been working on my presentation, but today I saw Tylers...Which means I'm going to be working on it over the weekend. Not much else going on, so I'm gunna keep it short.

Song of the Day: Where Is My Mind, by The Pixies

The car show yesterday was awesome. Well worth it. I got to meet Mr. Yutaka Katayama, the 95 year old original designer of the Z car, and I got him to autograph a Z hat I bought. I'll probably get pictures up tonight, so I'll post a link tomorrow.

Today I worked a ton on my presentation, but I need to remember to bring in the digi cam so I can put the rest of the pictures on it. I also have to work on what I'm actually going to say...hmm...

Martial arts time.
Peace.

Song of the Day: You Got Another Thing Comin', by Judas Priest

Field trip today was pretty sweeet. (Yes, 3 e's in sweeet). Jimmy Macs was pretty cool, I'm glad we went. Had a lot of fun, especially making fun of the item menus (I'd like a Spicy Rhino Sausage and a Hot Nutty Irishman please). I worked more on my presentation, and talked with Alvin a bit about imaging science and stuff.

Oh yeah, and I think I totally screwed up. I punched out at about 1:15 or so for my 30 minute break...Well I don't remember punching back in. So yeah, that's my first screw up with the clock. Oh well, I emailed Joe, so hopefully it's all getting worked out.

Peace,
Jason

Song of the Day: 25 Or 6 To 4, by Chicago

So I'll give someone an e-cookie if they can tell me what Green Day song used the same basic chord progression as what is in "25 Or 6 To 4". And I'll give you two e-cookies if you can tell me what Led Zeppelin song Chicago probably stole the riff from.

Let's see....I worked more on my presentation. I brought my digi cam to take pictures with, but then I realized I don't really have much to take pictures of. I don't have a lab, I don't have fancy equipment, I don't have anything except data on the computer. So I think most of the pictures will be stuff that's already on the computer.

I proofed a jounral for Dr. Kastner today. He wanted me to verify that none of the coordinates of the objects had accidentally been changed when he submitted it to the publisher for formatting. It was fine, and was a good (but tedious) way to waste 30min-1 hour.

I'm off to martial arts. Tonight is ground grappling/street sparring. My favorite night! Let's hope I don't get any more marks on my face, because I think I have Senior pictures next week.

Peace out,
Jason

Song of the Day: N.I.B., by Black Sabbath

So this morning (is that one word or two? I can never remember) Dennis, JD, and I decide to go explore the bike trails for a bit. So we went and just started following trails, and I was suprised at how far back they go. It was pretty sweet though, we saw a ton of frogs and stuff. Pretty nice trails.

I decided today to start work on my presentation. I'm making an outline, and then I'm going to fill it with what I want to say about each topic, and hopefully I'll remember to bring my digi cam so I can add pics and stuff. I just don't want it to be boring.

For lunch JD and I went to the final talk thing. Well there weren't any talks...But there was free food. It was pretty good, I love Salvatore's pizza (mainly cuz I live off it during the school year). We sat and talked with Jesse and Cory for a while. Cory was hilarious (and quite full). It was good times.

Now I'm leaving early so I can get to job #2. Pro Park...Yay.

Peace,
Jason

Song of the Day: Bron-Y-Aur Stomp, by Led Zeppelin

Man, this is an awesome song, off of the Led Zeppelin III album. It's got a great beat, and feels very country-ish. I HATE COUNTRY, but I love this song. Zeppelin just makes it work.

"Bron-yr-Aur is the cottage in Wales where Jimmy Page and Robert Plant wrote much of Led Zeppelin III in 1970 after a grueling US tour. The cottage had no electricity or running water, but the change of scenery provided inspiration for many songs on the album."

"Robert Plant wrote this for his dog, Strider. He took the pooch with him to Bron-yr-Aur."

"Bron-Yr-Aur means "golden breast" or "breast of gold" in Welsh. It means "breast" as in hillside of gold. It's pronounced "Bron-rar.""

"Drummer John Bonham played spoons and castanets. John Paul Jones played an acoustic 5-string fretless bass."

Taken from SongFacts.com

Today was pretty fun, I went to both defenses. The first was good, but I almost fell asleep cuz it was early in the morning. The second one I almost fell asleep because I just didn't understand it. Other than that, I finished up comparing the lumonisities - one set without the blackbodies, the other set with the blackbodies. I'm looking forward to the field trip on Friday, Kodak should be pretty sweet.

I'm probably not going to be here next Wednesday, because I've decided I'm going to the Z Car Convention down in Syracuse.

Peace,
Jason

Song of the Day: Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, by AC/DC

Dennis, JD, and I went for coffee this morning. That was cool. It was a nice break from the normal day. Uhh, let's see, didn't too much. Sorted out the IDL program for the area under a curve of a blackbody. Now I'm just organizing all the data and whatnot. Fun stuff. Martial arts time. Maybe I'll have a cool story to tell tomorrow. Who knows.
